The Saboteur

Electronic Arts has just released a historic thriller in The Saboteur. EA is notoriously known for its sports games, and Dead Space so it will be interesting to see how they approach this WW ll action adventure. Will it be able to deliver a punch like many other WW ll games, or will it just fall to the wayside as a mediocre attempt to refuel a WW ll based game? Here is my review.

The Saboteur is a very interesting game to play because of the color and graphic system in place. The is mostly in black and white with only a few things having color like torches, blood, the red on Nazi uniforms, and cut scenes. It makes for a very intriguing style of play and gives a new feeling to gaming. Along the campaign you receive perks the gives the gamer rewards much like in Call of Duty. Some of the bad things are driving vehicles is difficult and not smooth. The stealth techniques and kills are not up to par as they have pretty much been used in many other games. For example the are like a million games out there where you sneak up behind someone and break their neck. The game overall does not provide an explosive to idea to gaming therefore it received a 7.5.

Your play an angry Irish man named Sean Devlin who is out to kill the Nazis to avenge the death of his brother. So you patrol the streets of Paris taking out top Nazi officers and stealing high importance items. The campaign is explosive and fun. Killing Nazis is pretty much the focal point of the game. One thing I do like about the game is that is open world. This means that you can do things at your own pace and don't have to follow a strict storyline where one thing happens right after the other.
