Heeloween
Last night on Franklin Street, I saw many interesting costumes. A large cardboard bird, a group of guys in speedos, a peacock, and a girl in a moving fortune teller booth just to name a few. I was surprised to see that there were many people out there wearing videogame hero costumes. Most of the ones that I saw where the nostalgic, throwback heroes like Mario and Luigi. But there were some out there that I didn't expect to see like Link, Optimus Prime, and Gordon Freemen. Even though they where all great costume, I believe that me and my friends topped them all.
We wanted to do something that would impress the people on Franklin Street. We spent alot of time thinking and finally came up with Pac Man. What we did was make a huge cardboard cut out of Pac man and fitted it to my friend Thomas. My other friends got materials to make the ghost out of, and it was a success. Every 2 seconds pictures where being taken, and people yelling " Yeah, its Pac Man, thats awesome!" I would have to write this one down as a success, and next year is going to be even bigger and better.
That does seem like a great group costume idea. Unfortunately I didn't see you all dressed up as it though, but it looks good from the picture. Just as you mentioned lots of people being mario and luigi, my good friend and I were mario and luigi. I didn't expect to see so many other mario bros on Halloween but there were a lot.
